Eg Snap is a smart recycling platform designed to simplify and promote eco-friendly behavior across communities. The project consists of a user-friendly mobile application, an administrative dashboard, and optional web support for broader accessibility. Eg Snap empowers individuals to participate in sustainable waste management by providing essential recycling information, enabling pickup scheduling, and guiding users to nearby recycling centers. With a mission to encourage eco-conscious living, Eg Snap makes recycling easy, rewarding, and accessible — helping cities and neighborhoods build cleaner, greener environments through smart digital tools.
The primary challenge was driving user engagement in recycling programs by overcoming barriers like confusion, inconvenience, and lack of awareness. To address this, we:
Designed a minimalist and intuitive mobile app that guides users through every step of the recycling process.
